Laurie Hawkes and Sunilraj Sangha, both undefeated on 14, were the joint top scorers for Belhus in this non-competitive fixture at North Stifford. The South Weald innings was off to the worst possible start when one of the opening batsman was run out off the very first ball of the match by Amy Squires, fielding at third man. Amy went on to achieve a further run out later in the visitors' innings, to seal a fine performance in the field. Home team bowling accolades went to Chris Sharp, 2-4 from two overs, with Hawkes showing good all-round potential with 2-7 from three overs.
