Pegasus and Corringham U13 63-9
A fine innings from Lee Shipton earned Belhus a place in the South Essex District Cricket League U13 play-offs at Corringham on Sunday morning. Shipton struck a fine undefeated 27 which included three boundaries, despite the best efforts of the home side, for whom Daniel Trigg took 1-7 from two overs, while Matthew Brady and Kaine Marshall both took 1-8 from two overs. Later, Harry Challis top scored for Pegasus and Corringham with 14, but found Tom Wood in blistering form with the ball as he took four home wickets for just nine runs in a devastating four-over spell. Craig Vickers took 2-5 from two overs, his two wickets coming in consecutive deliveries, while Jack Pantelli took two wickets for just eight runs from two overs, one of which was a maiden.
